The City of Swan is Perth's biggest metropolitan local government by area and is home to many culturally rich and diverse communities.
Our Local Area Planning (LAP) program is a 'one City' initiative that recognises the diversity of the social and urban fabric of the area. As part of the program we speak to local businesses, residents and stakeholders to identify priorities and create a plan to meet them.
The information collected during this program also helps us prepare other City strategies and undertake corporate business planning. This ensures that what we deliver on the ground is aligned as best it can with what our community told us.
