A review of the Local Area Plan (LAP) for the Guildford-Hazelmere has started. The Background Report was published in preparation for community engagement and can be found in the document library on this page.
LAPs identify the priorities that will help the City plan for and deliver outcomes that meet community aspirations and needs. We do this by asking you to vote for your priorities from a selection of themes and provide us with any additional feedback during the consultation period.
Consultation for the Guildford-Hazelmere LAP was open May 18-June 15, 2025 and reached eight per cent of the local population who provided 687 voting submissions and 486 comment submissions.
The results and the priorities were discussed and confirmed with Ward Councillors on June 18, 2025. The current priorities for the Guildford-Hazelmere local area are:
