The most recent version of the Bullsbrook Local Area Plan was adopted in July 2024.

The plan highlights the community’s priorities identified during the consultation period. It also creates a roadmap for the City to plan for and deliver outcomes that meet the community’s aspirations and needs. The City will provide the community with annual updates of the plan until a full review is completed in 2030.

Priority 1

  • The Pickett Park Community Centre and Outdoor Youth Space upgrade is being planned for Bullsbrook. Master planning and community information sessions were completed this year. As we get closer to construction, the City will seek community and stakeholder feedback to inform the detailed design of these facilities. Read More Here.
  • A future Bullsbrook District Open Space and Community Centre is being master planned for Bullsbrook. Community information sessions were completed this year with construction expected to commence between 2027 and 2030. See more on the plan here.
  • The Bullseye Youth Centre, a City run safe space for young people, has recently been extended to run four days a week, offering access to qualified youth workers who can provide information, support, referrals, programs and school holiday activities.
  • The City facilitated a homeschooling Give a Hoot market and education day in March 2025. The workshop provided information on the different species of owls found in Perth and taught practical ways to help them thrive.
