What's happening

A new public artwork is being planned for Woodbridge Riverside Park, the much-loved all-abilities playspace along the Swan River.

As part of the 2025/26 playground upgrades, a new sculptural artwork is coming to Woodbridge Riverside Park. It will sit near the play space and add something fun to discover. A place to look twice, imagine stories and maybe even play in a new way.

In February 2026 we asked the community for ideas that will help the artist create something friendly and playful that feels like it belongs in the park and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Our survey closed Friday, February 20, 2026. We are now considering the feedback and will communicate back to the community the outcome at a later date.
