The City is seeking comment on a development application at Lot 314 (No.228) Botanic Loop Brigadoon. The application seeks approval for a Single House, as well as Temporary Accommodation during the construction of the Single House.
Temporary Accommodation is a ‘use not listed’ under the City’s Local Planning Scheme 17, and therefore requires advertising to the surrounding properties before a decision can be made.
Details of the proposal are as follows:
- Temporary accommodation measures 14.4m x 6.6m (95m2)
- Located entirely within the building envelope
- Accommodation is to be removed and replaced with a shed upon completion of the main dwelling on the lot.
- The application also seeks approval for a water tank which is located outside the building envelope. The tank is setback 30 metres from the closest lot boundary.
Deadline for submissions is: 6 December 2024.
