The skate park, pump track and basketball court are outdated, in poor condition and have been identified for renewal. We are seeking information directly from the community, designated and potential user groups and individuals, to inform the concept design.

We would like to know:

• What the community would like to see in this space (both broad scale and specific items).
• How the community would use this space and how often; and
• How would the community get there?
• What are the priorities for recreation facilities?

This project is in the initial stages. The cost will be guided by the results of the consultation and concept design. We are planning to develop advocacy campaigns to attract external funding opportunities for this project.

The City considers the aspirations of the community alongside the funding potential, whole of life costs and feasible provision.
