Construction of the new Ellenbrook Train Station is now complete, expected to be open in early 2025. The City is aware that there will be increased pressure on parking in the vicinity of the train station once it opens and is taking a proactive approach to ensure that parking is managed in the Town Centre effectively.
We are now seeking your comments on the draft Parking Management Plan, which provides guidance on how parking could be managed in the Ellenbrook Town Centre.
The intent of the Parking Management Plan is to ensure that parking is available to visitors and customers in the Town Centre, and that commuters utilise the new train station parking in the dedicated parking area.

Update
The City of Swan has started installing signage infrastructure, including poles, around Ellenbrook Town Centre in preparation for the new parking plan. While the plan has not been endorsed by Council yet, it will be reviewed at the December 11, 2024 Ordinary Council Meeting. The City is conducting these works ahead of time to minimise implementation delays following the December Ordinary Council Meeting.
There will be no enforcement of the instructions on the parking signage until the plan is endorsed and fees for ticketed areas have been publicly advertised. We are in the process of covering the signs until the parking restrictions are approved and come into effect.
