A Reconciliation Action Plan for our Swan community
The City of Swan is developing our next Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and we are asking the community to share their aspirations and ideas for this important document.
Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal people, for the benefit of all Australians.
The City began its reconciliation journey many years ago, and endorsed our first Innovate RAP in 2022 which delivered some great initiatives for our staff, community and stakeholders, allowing us to listen, engage and connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including our local Noongar communities.
In 2025, we will develop our next RAP alongside our community and key stakeholders, showcasing our achievements and identifying new actions for the the next two years.
We invite you to join us in this important conversation to ensure equitable opportunities for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
