The City has received the abovementioned proposal for consideration.
Application seeks approval for parking of Commercial vehicles at 2023 Great Northern Hwy, Bullsbrook. Pursuant to Clause 5.10.1 of Local Planning Scheme No.17, the parking or garaging of a commercial vehicle(s) on any land within the Scheme Area requires the prior approval of the Council.
Details of the proposal as follows:
- Parking of five (5) 3 axle prime movers (130 tonnes) and five (5) axle trailer (23.5 tonnes)
- Parking area located in an open area between the existing dwelling and rear shed
- Parking area setback approximately 113m front the Great Northern Highway frontage, 232m from the west rear boundary, 105m from the north side boundary and 109m from the south side boundary
- Parking area has dimensions of 20m by 60m, resulting in an area of 1200m²
- Parking area is not proposed to be sealed
- No vehicle maintenance to be undertaken onsite
- Commercial vehicles are owned or operated by the owner, occupier, driver or proprietor of a business
- No buildings and works are proposed
- Commercial vehicles to enter and egress the site from an existing crossover located towards the southern side of the Great Northern Highway frontage.
