The City has received an application to amend an aspect of an approved development for Signage at Lot 301 (No.380) Great Eastern Highway, Woodbridge relating to the approved ‘Recreation-Private - Gym’.

The City issued planning approval for Signage which included a 16m wide x 4m high digital LED Sign on the eastern façade of the building for “REVO Fitness”.

Condition 6 of the development approval (DA-86/2025) states - The LED sign shall only display material pertaining to REVO Fitness only and shall not display any third party information.

The applicant is now seeking to delete this condition to be able to use the sign to display and advertise third party information not related to “Revo Fitness” but to use the sign for the promotion of other fitness-related brands and products.

Given the use of the sign is no longer proposed to be incidental to the ‘Recreation Private – Gym’ the City considers the development is a “Use Not Listed” in accordance with Clause 4.4.2 of the City’s Scheme and the application is subject to advertising in accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
