The City has received an application seeking approval of a carport on Lot 8813 (No.228) Banrock Drive, THE VINES WA 6069. Details of the proposal are as follows:

  • The proposed carport is 8m (length) x 16m (width) x 4m (height) with a maximum ridge height of 5.55m.

The proposal seeks the following variations to the Residential Design Codes and DAP-251 Annie’s landing Stage 3B:

RDC (2024) Part B: Cl 5.1.3 Lot Boundary Setbacks

  • The proposed carport is setback 1.5m from the Southwest boundary in lieu of the required 1.8m

DAP-251 Annie’s landing Stage 3B

  • The proposed carport will be located outside the building envelope and is set back 1.5m from the southwest boundary and nil setback to the existing shed.
