The City has received the abovementioned proposal for consideration. Prior to the City giving consideration to the proposal, comments from surrounding owners are sought.
The applicant seeks approval to run a dog grooming home business (‘Aristo Paws’) from their home at Lot 4879 (No.15) Rhodeswood Drive, Aveley.
Home Businesses are a discretionary use in residential areas and require planning approval under City of Swan Local Planning Scheme 17.
The application proposes:
- Business will be run within the house (garage)
- Proposed business hours: Monday to Saturday Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Proposing 2-3 customers per day
- Drop off and pick up only (car does not stay on premises during grooming)
- Parking confined to the driveway of the lot.
