The City has received a development application for a proposed ‘outbuilding’ located outside the designated building envelope at Lot 99 (No. 228) Boulonnais Drive, Brigadoon.

The details of the proposed development are as follows:

  • Area: 24.28m x 12m = 291.36m2
  • Wall height: 4m
  • Roof height: 5.057m

The proposed outbuilding is located outside the designated building envelope and has the following setbacks from lot boundaries:

  • 8m from Primary Street (Boulonnais Dr)
  • 80m from the West boundary
  • 56m from the East boundary
  • 273m from the Rear

Due to the lot's sloping nature, the most ideal position is 8m from the primary boundary.

The application also proposes earthworks to stabilise the land, which will include a rockpitch retaining wall on the rear of the proposed shed to prevent soil erosion.
