The City has received a planning application for a rural outbuilding at Lot 2161 (No. 135) Litchfield Promenade, JANE BROOK.

The Lot is zoned Rural under the Metropolitan Regional Scheme and Landscape under the City’s Local Planning Scheme No. 17.

The proposal consists of the following:

  • A rural outbuilding with the following specifications:
    • 19x long x 13m wide
    • Wall height of 4.4m and ridge height of 5.57m
    • Constructed of steel and tin in Monument colour
  • 2x water tanks with the following specifications:
    • 3.825m diameter, height of 2.55m
    • Volume of 25m³
    • Material Polyethylene, in Monument.


The proposal varies the provisions of POL-C-080-Building Envelopes and POL-TP-126 by offering a reduced setback of 7.27m to the primary street boundary in lieu of 30m. The proposed water tanks are located outside of the Building Envelope.

Prior to determination of application, the City wishes to formally invite you to provide a submission on this proposal.
