Proposed Extension to the term of approval for mobile food vendor (Use not listed)

The City has received a development application seeking to renew the existing temporary approval for a mobile food trailer operating under the name “We Desi Indian Street Food Trailer” at Lot 182 (No.771B) Marshall Road, Malaga.

As the proposal constitutes a Use Not Listed under Local Planning Scheme No. 17, the application is subject to assessment and advertising in accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

The applicant is not proposing any changes to the previous approval. The operational details are as follows:

• The food trailer measures approximately 5.5 metres in length and 2.5 metres in width.
• It will be parked in the same location as previously approved.
• Operating hours will remain from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Thursday to Sunday, with setup permitted from 5:30pm.
• Takeaway service only – no seating for patrons is proposed.
• The trailer will be operated by three employees.
• The trailer will be removed from site outside of trading hours and the car park will be left clean and tidy.
