The City of Swan has received a development application for a large outbuilding (shed)
at 374 Dalgety Road, Red Hill.
The proposal is for a rural shed used for household storage, measuring approximately
15.3 metres by 25.9 metres, with a maximum height of around 7.3 metres. The shed is
proposed to be 45 metres from Dalgety Road and 30 metres from the property at 336
Dalgety Road, Red Hill.
The proposal is located within the Landscape zone in accordance with the City of Swan
Local Planning Scheme No. 17. While sheds are generally appropriate within this
zoning, planning approval is required due to the size and height of the shed.
The City is seeking feedback from nearby landowners, particularly in relation to its scale,
height, and appearance within its setting.
