The City has received the abovementioned proposal for consideration. The application seeks approval for a ‘Patio’ at Lot 511 (No.64) Turkich Pde Aveley.

The proposal seeks variation to the Residential Design Code requirements in relation to ‘Clause 5.1.3 Lot boundary setbacks’ which states that for a patio, the lot boundary setback may be reduced to nil to the posts where the structure is (among others) not more than 2.7m in height. The proposed patio has a height along the west side boundary of 2.95m.
