The City has received a development application for a proposed ‘outbuilding’ located in the rear of Lot 30 (No.7) Indigo Road, DAYTON. The applicant is proposing an as-of right variation to the lot boundary setbacks on the west and south boundaries. The details of the proposed development are as follows:
Area: 6m x 4m = 24m2
Wall height: 2.4m
Overall height: 2.918m
The as-of-right variation is 0.2m in place of 1m from both the west and south boundaries (as seen on the associated site plans). The City will conduct an alternative merit-based assessment against the design principles of the Residential Design Codes - 5.4.3 Outbuildings:

Prior to the Council giving consideration to the proposal, comments from the surrounding owners are being sought.
