The City has received a development application for Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation at Lot 401 (No.2634) Toodyay Road, GIDGEGANNUP. The lot is zoned Rural under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and General Rural under the City’s Local Planning Scheme No.17.


The use is listed as an ‘A’ use under the City of Swan Local Planning Scheme No. 17, which means the application will be advertised to nearby Owners and Occupiers who may be impacted by the proposal.


The City of Swan is seeking neighbouring residents’ comments on the proposal prior determining this application.


The proposal consists of the following particulars:

  • Unhosted Short-term rental accommodation, which involves the temporary occupation of a dwelling by visitors for short stays.
  • The dwelling will be rented to guests in its entirety, the host will not be present during the stay. No physical changes or additions to the dwelling are proposed as part of this application.
