The City has received an application for a proposed extension to an existing nonconforming land use being ‘Grouped Dwellings’ with a Patio proposed at Lot 5 (No.13) Elvire Street, Viveash.

The lot is zoned “urban’ under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and ‘Special use Zone 26’ under the City of Swan Local Planning Scheme No.17. The intent of the Special use Zone is “to provide for the coordinated development of a future retirement village estate that incorporates both Independent Living Units in addition to Low and High Care Accommodation”.

Details of the proposed are as follows:

  • 37.2m2 Patio addition to the community centre

In accordance with the City’s Local Planning Scheme No.17, advertising is required as the proposal is an extension to a non-conforming land use.
