The City has received a development application for a proposed ‘outbuilding’ located outside the designated building envelope Lot 233 (No.14) Rapid Close BRIGADOON WA 6069.

The details of the proposed development are as follows:

Shed:

  • Area: 27.575m x 10.410m = 287.06m2
  • Wall Height: 5.85m
  • Roof Height: 7.2m

Mezzanine level (2.4m above GL):

  • Area: 7.575m x 14.25m = 107.94m2

Lean-to Cover (South Side):

  • Area: 3.84m x 27.575m = 105.89m2

Total Site Cover: 392.95m2.

The building will be clad in colorbond sheet cladding with ‘Dune’ colour finish, to match the roof sheeting of the existing residence, which will be non-reflective.

The proposed outbuilding is located outside the designated building envelope and has the following setbacks from relevant lot boundaries:

  • Primary street boundary: 73m
  • Southern Boundary (20 Rapid Close BRIGADOON WA 6069): 11.8m
