The City has received a development application for an Alfresco Area at 5 Action Road Malaga. The application is an amendment to approved Tavern (DA-247/2021).


The details of the proposal are as follows:

  • An alfresco area at the front of the Tavern.
  • The alfresco area removes two (2) existing car parking bays.
  • No permanent structures are proposed, only removable bollards, tables and umbrellas.
  • No changes to the number of patrons, staff or operating hours are proposed.

  • Within General Industrial zone the use ‘Tavern’ is considered an ‘A’ use – meaning that the use is not permitted unless the decision maker has advertised the application and exercised their discretion by granting planning approval.
