The City has received an application seeking approval of a shed on Lot 4234 (No. 11) Derricap Avenue, Ellenbrook. Details of the proposal are as follows:

  • Total area: 36m2
  • Wall height: 2.7m
  • Structure height: 3.23m
  • North-Eastern setback: 1m
  • Secondary street setback: 1.01m

The proposed development seeks the following variations to the Residential Design Codes:


Clause 5.1.2 Street Setback

  • 1.01m secondary street setback, in lieu of the required 1.5m


Clause 5.4.3 Outbuildings

  • Wall height of 2.7m, in lieu of the maximum 2.4m


Accordingly, the application will be assessed against the relevant design principles of the R Codes.


The City invites your comments on the proposed variations as an affected landowner.
