The City is seeking public comment on a proposal for new lighting towers at Lot 40 (No. 288) Ellenbrook Road, Bullsbrook, associated with the existing Ellenbrook Speedway.
The proposal includes:
- Upgrades to the lighting on the existing three (3) 19-metre poles located within the infield of the track.
- Installation of eight (8) new 20-metre lighting poles around the track, with lighting directed inwards towards the speedway.
No changes are proposed to the speedway's approved operating hours. The speedway currently conducts two twilight meetings per year, operating from 12:00 pm to 9:30 pm, for which temporary lighting towers are hired.
Prior to the determination of application, the City wishes to formally invite you to provide a submission on this proposal.
