The City has received a development application for a single house and shed which varies the Schedule 5 of the City’s Local Planning Scheme No.17 at Lot 38 (No. 215) Lillie Road GIDGEGANNUP.


The lot is zoned ‘Rural’ under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and ‘Rural Residential’ under the City of Swan’s Local Planning Scheme No.17.


This application is for an 15m length x 25m width (375m2) shed. The shed varies Schedule 5 in the following manners:

  • Area of shed is 375m2 in lieu of 200m2.
  • The shed proposes a 6.3m height in lieu of the prescribed maximum height of 5m for sheds.


The proposed shed is intended to be used for the storage of vehicles, including cars, a bobcat, and other associated machinery required for the maintenance of the bush block.


The City of Swan is seeking neighbouring residents’ comments on the proposal prior determining this application.
