The City has received an application to construct two (2) sheds and the parking of commercial vehicles at Lot 109 (No. 135) Meadowbrook Ramble, Bullsbrook.


Details of the proposal are as below:


Construction of sheds and its associated earthworks

  • Two (2) sheds proposed measuring 9m x 12m x 6.5m in height.
  • Setback 43 metres from Meadowbrook Ramble boundary and 20 metres from the eastern boundary.
  • The sheds are to be used to store domestic items, machinery to maintain the subject lot and parking of commercial vehicles.


Parking of commercial vehicles

  • The proposal includes the parking of two (2) prime movers and one (1) trailer.
  • Vehicle movements are expected between 7.30am and 3.30pm daily.
  • No vehicle maintenance to be undertaken on site.
  • The commercial vehicles are privately owned by the landowner and are not associated with an existing or proposed commercial business operating from the property.


The proposed number of commercial vehicles complies with the maximum number of commercial vehicles that Council may consider in any development application for planning approval under Schedule 14 and Clause 5.10 Parking of Commercial Vehicles Local Planning Scheme No.17.
