The City has received an application seeking approval of an ancillary dwelling application on Lot 3838 (No.6) Clio Lane, Ellenbrook. Details of the proposal are as follows:


  • The proposed ancillary dwelling is a single storey dwelling with a maximum height of 4.3m above the natural ground line.


The proposed development seeks the following variation to the Residential Design Codes:


RDC (2024) Part B Clause 5.1.3 Lot Boundary Setback

  • Southern lot boundary setback of 1m, in lieu of 1.5m minimum
  • Western lot boundary setback of 1.077m, in lieu of 1.5m minimum


RDC (2024) Part B Clause 5.1.4 Open Space

  • 55% open space provided in lieu of the required 60% minimum
