The City has received a planning application for an existing Retaining Wall at Lot 511 (No. 236) Pechey Road, JANE BROOK.
The lot is zoned Rural under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and Landscape under the City’s Local Planning Scheme No.17
The proposal consists of the following particulars:
- A tiered limestone retaining wall with a maximum wall height of 2.015m and a maximum length of 58m
This proposal varies the deemed-to-comply provisions of Local Planning Policy POL-TP- 126 by virtue of proposing a reduced setback to the rear lot boundary of 6.5m in lieu of the required 30m and a reduced setback to the primary street boundary of 21m in lieu of the required 30m.
Prior to the determination of application, the City wishes to formally invite you to provide a submission on this proposal.
