The City has received a retrospective development application for an existing hardstand located at Lot 140 (No.2455) Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook. The hardstand is used for the storage of heavy equipment between projects.
Key details of the proposal include:
- The hardstand measures 15,747m² and is constructed of 200mm road base with 100mm bitumen profiling.
- It is located behind the existing industrial premises at the front of the site, currently operated by State-Wide Steel Fabrication. There is no change to the use or area of these existing premises.
- The applicant anticipates a maximum of 15 vehicles or pieces of heavy equipment being stored on the hardstand at any one time.
The City will assess the application in relation to the prevailing amenity of the area. You are invited to provide comments on the proposal as an affected landowner.
