The City has received a retrospective development approval application for shipping containers and shade structures currently located at Lot 22 (No.1370) Great Northern Highway, UPPER SWAN WA 6069. The details are as follows:

Existing shade structure

- Dimensions: 15.411m x 7.460m (114.96m²)

- Height: 3.085m

- Setback: 5.236m from the primary street and 12.563m from the common boundary (shared with lot 26)

- Supported by two shipping containers, each container is 6.1m x 2.4m

Existing storage shelter

- Dimensions: 4.150m x 7.8m (32.37m²)

- Height: 3.085m in height

- Setback: 4.3m from the primary street

Shipping Container 1

- Dimensions 12m x 2.4m (28.8m²)

- Height: 2.6m

- Setback 1.4m from the common boundary (shared with lots 26 & 20)

Shipping Container 2

- 12m x 2.4m (28.8m²)

- Height: 2.6m

- Setback 1m from the common boundary (shared with lot 23)

- Setback 7m from the common boundary (shared with lot 21)

Before the proposal is presented to Council for consideration, feedback from surrounding property owners is being sought.
