An EOI is a way to see who wants to be part of a project, service or opportunity. It usually involves completing a short form to outline your interest and basic details.

An EOI is not a guarantee of selection, but it helps the organiser understand demand and decide who may be invited to apply or take part.

The EOI is the process to identify the first groups and individuals who will hire spaces in the new Centres when they open in early 2027.

The EOI process helps the City understand what activities are planned, when spaces are needed and how to make sure the Centre is shared fairly by a mix of community and commercial hirers.

You can complete an EOI form for one or both new facilities via Swan Engage.

Paper copies are also available by request from the City of Swan.

Yes you can, but you must submit a separate EOI for each centre.

EOIs must be submitted by 8pm, Sunday, May 31, 2026

All applicants will be contacted in December 2026 with the outcome of their application.

Successful groups will be supported through onboarding before the Centre opens in early 2027.

The Brabham District Community Centre includes a range of bookable spaces:

• Major Hall (200 people) – large gatherings, performances, celebrations

• Lesser Hall (125 people) – workshops, classes, community meals

• Meeting Room (50 people) – meetings, small groups, drop-ins

The Brabham East Pavillion includes a range of bookable spaces:

• Function Room (120 people) – large gatherings, performances, celebrations

• Meeting Room (50 people) – meetings, small groups, drop-ins

Storage facilities are share and subject to availability.

EOIs will be assessed against a set of criteria by a staff panel. Priority will be given to:

• Not-for-profit and community-benefit groups

• Uses that maximise community access and facility usage

• A balanced mix of activities (to avoid duplication of the same type of group).

Commercial bookings are welcome but considered alongside community needs.
