The Ballajura Local Area Plan has now been Adopted and your Community Priorities have been determined.
What's happening
The Ballajura Local Area Plan (LAP), which sets out the community priorities has been Adopted by Council at the April Meeting. LAPs are an important way of making sure our services, facilities and projects reflect the needs and aspirations of the people who live, work and spend time here.
Thank you to everyone that participated in the community consultation in 2025. Your input and ideas has shaped the Ballajura LAP and influenced how the City plans and invests in the years ahead. Based on your feedback, the Ballajura Community Priorities are:

How did we get here? Participants were invited to vote for their top priorities by placing five tokens (votes) across nine different options. They could choose to spread their votes out or give multiple votes to the issues that mattered most to them. Over the four-week engagement period, 1496 individual participants contributed to the process by voting or commenting either online and in-person.
