The City of Swan is seeking feedback on a proposal to introduce 40km/h speed limits on selected local roads in Ellenbrook.

The proposal is being investigated in response to ongoing community concerns about vehicle speeds, rat-running and road safety within residential neighbourhoods.

Many of the streets included in the proposal connect homes, schools, parks, community facilities and local destinations used every day by residents.

Lower speed limits are commonly used in residential areas to help create safer and more comfortable streets for people walking, riding, driving and accessing local destinations.

Whether you live in Ellenbrook, travel through the area, walk, ride, drive or visit regularly, we'd like to hear your thoughts before any decisions are made.
